One of the precision machining contracts would be; manufacturing of various Pipe to Tube adaptors machined out of SS 304L (A-182F & A-479 grade) material. These were manufactured for an elite power company in India, and are used in the most stringent working environment (inside the Nuclear Reactor). The adaptors are mounted on the main water line which runs from the reactor to leakage monitoring detection system. These adaptors were not only machined by us but were also proven. With a wall thickness of just over 1 mm (0.04”) these adaptors were hydraulically tested at 250 kg/cm2. Non Destructive testing such as Ultrasonic and Dye Penetration tests were also carried out.
